THE FABRIC OF CHARACTER

From the faded dresses of 19th-century pioneers to the understated flannels of present-day environmentalists, costume designer Vicki Farrell (High Art, Boys Don’t Cry, Palindromes) has established a sharp eye for authenticity. Farrell will join us to chat about designing the wardrobe for two of director Kelly Reichardt’s most visually arresting films: the historical neo-Western Meek’s Cutoff and the slow-burn eco-thriller Night Moves.
