Steven Spielberg’s Academy Award–winning Jaws remains an enduringly terrifying summer blockbuster and one of the highest-grossing films of all time. To this day it’s responsible for countless cases of galeophobia.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Jaws, and preparation for Shark Week’s kick off on June 20, artist and author Leanne Shapton—joined by Galerie’s Christopher Bollen—will dive fearlessly into the waters of this chomping classic.
